Ellie introduced me to the joys of St Ives more years ago than I care to remember. I am pleased to say that my son and his wife, now with three daughters, have come to love St Ives as much as us and are now regular visitors.

 

Ellie comes from an old St Ives fishing family and from the census, we know the family have owned the house since at least 1912.

When we refurbished the house in 2010 we kept as many of the original features as possible including the original stain glass door in the living room.

​

This has been a house of happy families, friends and fun against the dramatic background of the fishing industry.
